Roland Reichen, born in Spiez in 1974, works as an assistant at the German Institute of the University of Berne. In 2006, he published the novel "aufgrochsen" with the bilger publishing house. In 2008, he was awarded a literary grant by the city of Berne (Werkbeitrag der Stadt Bern), and a residence grant of the LCB.
