Pierre Senges was born in 1968 in Romans, in the south east of France. He lives and works as a writer in Paris. His books are sequences numbered following the example of Georg Christoph Lichtenberg’s fragment. His first book "Veuves au maquillage", published by Verticales, contains 499 sequences.  His most recent work is "Etudes de silhouettes", Verticales, 2010.

Besides his books he writes radio features for which he received several awards, among other the l Prix SACD Nouveau Talent Radio in 2007. He contributes to various French magazines, such as "Le Tigre", "Vert Pastiche" and "Le Corps du texte".
