Angel Igov, born 1981 in Sofia, Bulgaria, studied English philology (B.A.) and Literature (M.A.) in Sofia, at the moment he is writing his PhD in European Literature. Angel Igov works as a writer, literary critic and translator in Sofia. He regularly publishes his articles and short stories in bulgarian newspapers and journals such as Kapital Light, Literaturen Vestnik or Kultura. For his debut in prosa “Sreshti na patya” he was given the “Yuzhna prolet” price in 2003. In 2005 he was awarded with the “Boyan Penev” price for literary criticism. His collected short stories and tales have been published in “K.” (2006) and “Sreshti na patya” (2003).
