At the moment, the Halma network consists of 26 players from 21 countries. Each player sends authors and literary translators from his/her respective country into play. These grant holders are invited to leave their home country for a certain time and move to two or more different locations of their own choice. The grant holders move freely on the Halma board as long as they consider the rule of visiting at least two new houses in different countries. They are free to choose whether they simply want to step over to the neighbour’s country, or dare jump over to more distant countries. Of course, changing fields of action is most fun when one meets other players on the way and actively uses the impulses of the encounter to get further ahead.

HALMA will attempt to keep track of all developments and guard the players’ compliance with the rules. The Robert Bosch foundation provides the board and invites the players to our table. Together we want to make sure that all players always get their due turn and that numerous grant holders move within the game at all times. We would like to include more people in our game, and further players are welcome.

We are looking forward to a good game with all our Halma institutions!
